Caged her

-They pluck her before she even blooms.

They caged her in the kitchen

saying, “this is where she belongs.”

Fed her self-doubt like it was love.

-She fought the inner turmoil,

as the burden on her shoulders

grew heavy and heavy.

-Too loud,

Too emotional,

Too bold to fit into the society.

-Yet silence was never her nature,

she meant to rise and roar.

She was a double-edged blade—

soft and nurturing on one side,

fierce and fearless on the other.

-She brought life into this world,

raised it with strength and grace.

She rose beside men, not in their shadow,

but in her own light.

My women don't ask for permission - they take. And my men? They're either on their knees or out of the story💅🏻
